Alex Busse joined the Astral Foods team in 2004 as the Vice President of World Class Fulfillment. Alex brings 22 years of consumer products sales, operations and distribution management experience to the team. 

Alex began his career with Beecham Consumer Products in 1983 where he was involved in the marketing of well-known brands, such as Aquafresh Toothpaste, Cling Free Fabric Softner and Sucrets, to major supermarket chains. 

Alex then went on to become the Director of Merchandise and Operations for Toys R Us. Alex helped develop new store concepts for the $13 billion toy retailer, and was part of the team which developed store concept planning for the flagship Times Square store. Before he assumed this position, he ran several markets for Toys R Us including the New York metropolitan market where he was the Regional Manager of the highest volume region in the company.
